October Film Marathon – Day Twenty Seven: The Omen (1976)

Welcome to my October Film Marathon. Each day I will be watching a Halloween/Autumnal themed film and will be posting a review.

Today is the 27th of October and I will be reviewing one of my all time favourite films, The Omen!

After an unfortunate stillborn befalls Robert and Katherine Thorn (Gregory Peck and Lee Remick) they agree to switch out the child for an orphan. However, as Damien grows, a host of strange occurrences lead the couple to believe they have adopted something more than a child. This is certainly one of the scariest films of all time. With many classic scenes, the sheer terror of this film renders it difficult to watch. Not only that, but production of this film was said to be cursed. Did the real Antichrist have something to do with it?
